FAO & ICID: Survey “Contribute to food security by optimal use of water”

arton3263.jpgThe Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO) and the International Commission on Irrigation and Drainage (ICID) launched the survey “Contribute to food security by optimal use of water” as part of the preparation process for the 6th World Water Forum, to be held in Marseille in March 2012. The aim of the survey is to collect the "voice" of stakeholders that could not participate in previously organized consultations.

The deadline for participating in the survey is 21 March 2011.

The 6th World Water Forum will address twelve thematic priorities. The forum will focus on concrete and achievable objectives at all levels, as well as on workable “solutions.”
