Stakeholder Steering Committee for UNGA preparatory process for a global compact on migration

At the request of the Office of the President of the General Assembly, UN-NGLS, UN DESA, UN University, and the UN Global Compact, with the support of the International Organization for Migration (IOM), are facilitating the participation of the stakeholders listed above in the informal interactive multi-stakeholder hearings and the six informal thematic sessions of the preparatory process for a global compact on migration. Representatives of stakeholder organizations / entities could apply to serve on the Stakeholder Steering Committee for the prepartory process by 9 May 2017.

A special accreditation application process was open through 17 April for organizations / institutions / entities NOT in consultative status with ECOSOC. More information about this process is available here.

Representatives of organizations / entities in consultative status with ECOSOC, or that were granted special accreditation to this UNGA preparatory process, may apply to attend the Thematic Sessions and multi-stakeholder hearings. More information is available here.
