Kathy Jetnil-Kijiner served as the civil society speaker in the opening ceremony of the UN Climate Summit. In this article, Kathy shares reflections on her experience at the UN, and an announcement of her launch of a new disaster relief fund for the Marshall Islands, following recent tidal flooding there.
