HC’s open letter on human rights in the post-2015 agenda

On 6 June 2013, the UN High Commissioner for Human Rights issued an open letter to all Member States urging them to further and fully reflect human rights in the on-going discussions and outcomes on the post-2015 development agenda. The letter highlights 10 critical human rights messages that must guide and be included in the post-2015 development frameworks, its goals, targets and indicators.

23rd session of the Human Rights Council concludes

The Human Rights Council concluded its 23rd regular session, held from 27 May-14 June, by adopting 26 resolutions that address a wide range of issues; it also held an urgent debate on the human rights situation in Syria and an annual full day of discussion on women’s rights.
