The United Nations Non-Governmental Liaison Service (UN-NGLS) is an inter-agency programme of the United Nations mandated to promote and develop constructive relations between the United Nations and civil society organizations.
Thank you to all who have already contributed to the online consultation of the UN Secretary-General’s High-level Panel of Eminent Persons on the Post-2015 Development Agenda (#Post2015HLP).
A two-page briefing was presented on 30 October to the Panel, in advance of their meeting in London (31 October – 2 November 2012), which addresses the issue of household poverty.
Input on the consultation questions is still welcome through 7 November. Substantive contributions will be compiled and synthesized by the UN Non-Governmental Liaison Service (UN-NGLS) into a consolidated report, which will be provided to the Panel, and published online by mid-November.
For background information about the Panel’s work, and how this short, focused consultation fits into the broader and deeper consultation and outreach process that the Panel will undertake over the course of its work, please read the #Post2015HLP Online Outreach Statement.
